  • James Coates is the pastor-teacher at GraceLife Church of Edmonton in Alberta, Canada. He has been pastoring GraceLife Church since 2010. He is a graduate of The Master’s Seminary (MDiv, DMin), co-author of God vs. Government: Taking a Biblical Stand When Christ and Compliance Collide, and author of Preaching and Hearing God’s Word. James is married to Erin and together they have two sons.

  • Dr. Ethan Jago is the Lead Pastor at 5 Bridges Church. He and his wife, Dianne, have three children: Kaiden, Skye, and Cora. Ethan served in the U.S. Air Force as a SERE Specialist for 16 years until his call into full-time ministry. Following his career in the military, he served as the Young Adults Pastor at Olive Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida. Ethan feels honored and blessed to serve at 5 Bridges as he seeks to equip its members to grow in their knowledge and love for the Lord, in addition to helping them know why they believe what they believe.

Breakout Speaker Erin Coates

In addition to main sessions, a special women’s breakout will be led by James’ wife, Erin Coates, the women’s director of Women of Grace at GraceLife Church. Erin is married to the love of her life, James, and they have two sons. She has served James in his role as the regular preaching pastor of GLC since 2010.


Erin has been the Women’s Ministry Director since its inception in 2011. Burdened that women needed to know their Bibles to accurately worship and obey Christ in the spheres He has placed them in as women, Women of Grace was born. Erin’s heart is to strengthen women in the Titus 2 discipleship ministry Nothing excites her more than seeing local churches strengthened through Christ exalting biblical exposition, especially as this translates into the spread of the gospel to the nations.
